Teaching and Diving Conditions

Confined water dives (confined open water or swimming pool):
Training uses confined open water areas with calm, shallow ocean conditions suitable for skill development, workshops, and instructor-level training. Pool training may be arranged when required or appropriate for the course.
Open water dive conditions:
Cozumel offers warm water year-round, typically around 26°C–29°C / 79°F–84°F, with visibility often 30 meters / 100 feet or more. Training may include both shore and boat dives, with conditions ranging from calm shore sites to moderate or strong currents on drift dives
Classroom details:
We use an air-conditioned classroom equipped for professional-level training, including whiteboards, a TV/media display, and high-speed internet. When appropriate, we may also use an open-air classroom setting near the beach for briefings, workshops, and course discussions.
Things to see on fun dives:
Cozumel is known for healthy coral reefs, clear water, walls, swim-throughs, and drift diving. Common marine life includes turtles, nurse sharks, eagle rays, moray eels, rays, lobsters, reef fish, and the endemic Cozumel splendid toadfish.
