Confined water dives (confined open water or swimming pool):
Confined water training takes place directly on our sheltered house reef in Shark Bay. The calm, pool-like conditions provide an ideal environment for students to learn and practice their diving skills comfortably. Our courses are taught in small groups, with a maximum of 5 students per instructor.
Open water dive conditions:
Enjoy year-round Red Sea diving with warm water, excellent visibility, and diverse conditions. We offer house reef diving and daily boat trips departing directly from our private jetty. Dive sites include local reefs, the Straits of Tiran, and Ras Moh
Classroom details:
Our dive centre provides a comfortable space for theory sessions, briefings and course preparation. Students have access to an air-conditioned classroom with Wi-Fi and the facilities needed for learning. Located directly by the Red Sea, our centre combines professional PADI training with the relaxed, welcoming atmosphere of UMBI Sharks Bay.
Things to see on fun dives:
Discover vibrant coral reefs, colourful reef fish, turtles, rays, moray eels, and occasional shark encounters. Popular diving areas include Ras Mohammed, the Straits of Tiran and Sharm’s local reefs. Wreck enthusiasts can also explore iconic sites such as the SS Thistlegorm and Dunraven during selected trips and liveaboard itineraries.

How to get to the SCUBA diving center from the airport:
UMBI Sharks Bay is only around 10 minutes from Sharm El Sheikh International Airport. The easiest option is by taxi directly from the airport. Airport transfers can also be arranged with us upon request.
